Terms of Service — Appliance Repair Solutions Plus

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of the services provided by Appliance Repair Solutions Plus ('Company,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our'), including our website at appliancerepairsolutionsplus.com and all residential appliance repair services. By scheduling a service appointment or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services Provided

Appliance Repair Solutions Plus provides residential appliance repair services exclusively. We do not provide commercial appliance repair services. Our services include diagnosis, repair, and parts replacement for major residential appliances including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, cooktops, and garbage disposals. Services are provided in our designated service area in Northern Virginia and Washington DC.

Service Appointments

Appointments are scheduled by calling (703) 929-1660. We will provide an estimated arrival window for your appointment. While we make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window, arrival times may vary due to traffic, prior job complexity, or other factors. We will notify you if we anticipate a significant delay.

Estimates and Pricing

Before beginning any repair work, our technician will provide a written estimate of the repair cost. This estimate includes the cost of parts and labor. Work will not begin until you have reviewed and approved the estimate. Final charges will not exceed the approved estimate without your prior authorization. A diagnostic fee applies to all service calls and is credited toward the cost of repair if you choose to proceed.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Checks are accepted at our discretion. For parts that must be special-ordered, a deposit may be required before ordering. All prices are in US dollars and include applicable taxes.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge by calling (703) 929-1660 at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows (failure to be present at the scheduled appointment without prior notice) may be charged a service call fee.

90-Day Warranty on Parts and Labor

Appliance Repair Solutions Plus provides a 90-day warranty on all parts and labor for completed repairs. If the same issue recurs within 90 days of the original repair, we will return to diagnose and repair the issue at no additional charge. This warranty applies to the specific repair performed and does not cover new or unrelated issues, damage caused by misuse or accidents, or issues resulting from power surges or external factors.

Limitation of Liability

Appliance Repair Solutions Plus's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost food, lost income, or property damage not directly caused by our technicians' negligence. Our technicians take every precaution to protect your home and property during service visits.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective service, customers agree to: ensure an adult (18 years or older) is present during the service appointment, provide accurate information about the appliance and the problem, ensure the appliance and surrounding area are reasonably accessible, disclose any known hazards or special conditions in the home, and ensure pets are secured away from the work area during the service visit.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
